Arrow Creek is my second CD. Lyrically the songs tell stories that are set or tied to a rich landscape. Song themes range from: the troubling question about how society has changed in less than one generation, a quest to regain something lost or left behind, the loss of a family farm, a plea for living more lightly on the land, the simple hope provided by of a gift of love, a humorous look at our lifestyle, to the awful dependancy modern society has on oil and more.

Caroline Quine provides wonderful harmonies in several songs and sings the folk rocker Drivin. "Lyrically and musically it is a very solid piece of work." Arrangements vary from extremely open and bare to more dynamic interplay between slide octave mandolin and guitar. Bill Lestock provides slide octave mandolin on Climb, Dave Pethel playes banjo on In The Blink Of An Eye and Bill Watson plays both upright bass and bowed bass on several songs.

Rivers and Trails, my first solo recording was done in 2002. A fishing/conservation theme with both humor and introspection flows (sic) through the CD. When I started the project I didn't want it to just be a collection of fishing songs and I actually wrote the title song with intentions of selling it to the National Parks Service Rivers and Trails Assistance Planning program as a theme song. On a whim I entered it in to a song of writing contest sponsored by VH1 and was was selected as one of the top four folk songs for the month. What a hoot! Several of the songs on this have been favorably reviewed out side of fishing camps. Honest!
